Our Mission to Enhance Community Safety
The SW Ohio Gun Buyback program is dedicated to fostering safer communities by offering a trusted and responsible method for removing unwanted firearms. Our Ohio gun buyback events include safe, convenient pickup services, making it easy for individuals and families to dispose of firearms they no longer want or need. Through community partnerships, firearm safety education, and responsible firearm removal, we aim to decrease the number of unwanted guns in our neighborhoods while promoting safety, peace of mind, and responsible ownership.
How the Buyback Works
We make the process as simple as possible for our Ohio gun buyback program. You can either give us a call, text, or email to inform us that you have one or more guns. We will schedule a time and send out a member of our team to evaluate and compensate you. After the evaluation, we issue a receipt and payment

What guns do we accept?
We only give compensation for working and functioning firearms. We will take non working or broken firearms but aren't able to compensate
How much do we compensate for complete, working firearms?
Compensation for complete, functioning firearms starts at $25 and can be as much as $150 per firearm.
While we do not offer compensation for broken, incomplete, or non-functioning firearms, we will still safely pick them up and remove them from your property at no cost.
What do we do with the firearms we receive?
Every firearm we receive is handled responsibly. Firearms that are unsafe, damaged beyond repair, or otherwise unsuitable for resale are securely dismantled and disposed of in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Firearms that are safe, legal, and have market value may be sold to licensed local firearms dealers. The proceeds help fund our organization's operating expenses, firearm safety education, and community outreach programs, allowing us to continue providing safe firearm removal services and safety courses throughout our community.
